Esterillos has a couple of small bars and neighborhood stores, but for major purchases it is necessary to travel the 20 minutes to Jacó or 20 minutes south to Parrita.
In Esterillos, one can stay in tranquility, and drive to close-by Jacó once in a while to shake it up with some night life.
